Her molecular oncology bench and clinical research background pivoted to technology transfer and startup support while performing MBA consulting projects for Fortune 500 companies. Currently, she cultivates growth in the bioscience industry across Northwest by working with life science startups and engaging ecosystem partners in developing novel programs and organizations for impact focused outcomes. These include SP3NW, Evergreen Bioscience Innovation Cluster and FIERCE – NSF Regional Innovation Engine.

Glenn D. Prestwich is the manager of Clear Solutions Biomedical LLC, a consulting company for intellectual property and innovation in the chemical and life sciences. He is the President’s Distinguished Visiting Professor (Emeritus) at Washington State University, and Co-founder and Director Emeritus of Spinout Space in Spokane (SP3NW), a life sciences innovation hub. He is also Presidential Professor of Medicinal Chemistry (Emeritus) and Presidential Special Assistant for Faculty Entrepreneurism (Emeritus) at the University of Utah, where he created and chaired the Entrepreneurial Faculty Scholars program for ten years.

His research expertise encompasses drug discovery in cell signaling, synthetic matrices for regenerative medicine, and glycosaminoglycan derivatives as anti-inflammatory agents. He co-founded nine companies, including Echelon Biosciences, Carbylan Biosurgery, Glycosan BioSystems (now BioTime, Inc), Sentrx Animal Care, GlycoMira Therapeutics, Metallosensors, Deuteria Biomaterials, Matrix Diagnostics, and Maana Discoveries. He is science advisor for Brickell Biotech, Organovo and Modern Meadow, C-DOCTOR, and newer startups including Kuda Therapeutics, Shasqi Therapeutics, Amasa Therapeutics, Valitor, Rebel Medicine, Glycologix, and others. His consulting company, Clear Solutions Biomedical LLC provides services to life science and legal clients.

He was elected as a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors in 2013 and as a Fellow of the AAAS in 2018. Other honors include the Utah Governor’s Medal for Science and Technology for 2006, the 1998 Paul Dawson Biotechnology Award & the 2008 Volwiler Research Award of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, the 2010 University of Utah Distinguished Scholarly and Creative Research Award and the 2014 U of Utah Distinguished Innovation and Impact Award. During his 41 years as a faculty member, he authored over 650 publications (H-index 92) and has over 35 issued patents; he has trained over 125 postgraduate scientists. He is a commercially-rated pilot, a first tenor, and a supporter and advocate for chamber music.

Jolene Anderson is the Managing Director for VectorPoint Ventures, a seed through early growth stage purpose-driven impact venture firm and advisory team. VectorPoint’s team launched VectorPoint Impact Partners L.P. (VIP) to fund and accelerate global health companies. Ms. Anderson served as advisor for Kineta Bio, based in Seattle; Investor Relations for a public company, Chapter President for Keiretsu Forum Northwest Region, investor and advisor to Inmedix, Inc. and advisor/mentor to life science companies in North America. She is a current Board member of the Evergreen Bioscience Innovation Cluster appointed byWashington State Department of Commerce, a member of the Angel Capital Association Life Science Committee and Keiretsu Forum Northwest Life Science Screening Committee, and member, guest speaker at Life Science Innovation NW.
Jolene is a pioneer in the spa/wellness industry and founder of one of the first corporate wellness education companies, guest editor and producer of wellness education.
A decades long commitment to cancer prevention and cures, she participated in lobby day in Washington, D.C. and WA state meeting to advocate funding for cancer research. An active participant in ACS events she was appointed to the Leadership Advisory Board for American Cancer Society NW Region in 2014 for a 2 year term. A former Board member for the St. Alphonsus Hospital Foundation, the Chris Elliott Fund for Brain Tumor Research, and MIT Enterprise Forum NW, she has spoken on STEM education and healthcare innovation atregional Rotary Clubs and civic organizations.

The principal mechanical engineer of Johnston Engineering, Andy Johnston is a licensed Professional Engineer in Washington with over 18 years of product development and mechanical engineering design and analysis expertise.
He has designed products for a wide range of industries including biotechnology, energy storage, renewable energy, consumer products, military and aerospace electronics cooling, nuclear, sports equipment and food handling equipment.
He offers mechanical design services combined with engineering analysis to ensure products are strong enough and work the first time without time consuming and expensive prototype iterations. Andy is a subject matter expert in the analysis, design, and test of single and two-phase thermal management systems including, cold plates, heat exchangers, fluid conveyance and HVAC.
Andy holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Gonzaga University and a Washington State Professional Engineer License.
When he isn't busy running his engineering empire, Andy molds the minds of Mechanical Engineering students as an instructor at Gonzaga University. He also serves as a member of the Eastern Washington Industrial Advisory Board and on the Board of Directors for Evergreen Bioscience Innovation Cluster.

Craig Parks is Associate Vice President for Health Sciences and professor of Psychology at Washington State University. He is responsible for development of academic programs in the health sciences and assists the health science colleges with matters related to their professional accreditation. He works with units in Pullman that have health-related educational interests and assists the Tri-Cities and Everett campuses with health education matters that are particular to their areas. An essential part of his role is interacting with healthcare industry and providers to learn of their immediate workforce needs, anticipate their future needs, and build collaborative relationships that can provide students with experiential learning opportunities.

With over 25 years of experience in the discovery, development, and manufacture of medicines and related technology, Katrina Rogers is a quality and leadership expert who empowers others to achieve their big ideas.

Her professional services firm specializes in dramatically decreasing the cost and time of bringing new therapies to market by working with clients to devise fit-for-purpose solutions to address short- and/or long-term needs.

An expert in laboratory and technical operations, she is also an ASQ certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence and Pharmaceutical GMP Professional.

As the CTO and co-founder of Product Creation Studio (PCS) a design driven engineering consultancy based in Seattle, Scott leads the development of consumer, medical, and industrial products that combine cutting-edge technology with engaging, user-friendly design. He has over 25 years of experience in product innovation and holds a Ph.D. and a professional engineer license in mechanical engineering.

Scott is passionate about identifying emerging market segments that PCS can contribute to and influences and conveys enthusiasm for new product innovation to our clients and partners. He has been instrumental in bringing numerous innovative products to market at PCS and has helped clients win prestigious awards such as the Red Dot Design Award, the Good Design Award, and the Medical Design & Excellence Award.

Dr. Bhagwat Prasad is an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at WSU College of Pharamcy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. He leads several federal and industry-funded research programs on characterization of interindividual variability and in vitro to in vivo extrapolation (IVIVE) of drug transport and metabolism by utilizing quantitative proteomics and metabolomics. He serves as the director of proteomics-based research in non-cytochrome P450 enzymes (PRINCE), a consortium funded by multiple pharmaceutical companies. Prior to moving WSU, Dr. Prasad was an assistant professor at the University of Washington (UW), Seattle and was affiliated with the UW research affiliate program on transporters (UWRAPT).
Dr. Prasad has published 125 peer-reviewed articles and delivered over 100 invited talks at various conferences, peer institutes, and FDA. Dr. Prasad is an elected member of Washington State Academy of Sciences and a recipient of ISSX North American New Investigator Award and ASPET Early Career Faculty award. Dr. Prasad has also served as the Secretary of Drug Metabolism and Disposition Division of ASPET. Dr. Prasad is a senior editor of Pharmacology Research and Perspectives and a member of the editorial boards of Drug Metabolism and Disposition, Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics, and Trends in Analytical Chemistry. Dr. Prasad obtained his MS and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from NIPER, Mohali, India and postdoc from UW, Seattle, WA.

Andrew Morse came to Central Washington University in 2022 as Vice President for University Relations and Chief of Staff. Inspired by the university’s vision to be a model learning community of equity and belonging, Andrew brings 15 years of higher education leadership and public policy experience focused on higher education access and student success, economic and community development, and quality of life.

At Central Washington University, Morse leads the university’s state and federal relations portfolio, economic and community development initiatives, and strategic marketing and communications. Currently, he is co-facilitating a project in partnership with the Washington Student Achievement Council to modernize admissions and financial aid policy and practice to expand higher education access and student success in Washington. Andrew has also led in the acquisition of state appropriations to move 800,000 square feet of CWU’s infrastructure from fossil fuels to geothermal energy.

He is the Vice President of Economic Development for Greater Spokane Incorporated where he leads the economic development team at GSI and works with economic development partners throughout the region to grow and diversify the Spokane regional economy.
Gary has been an economic developer since 1996, both private and public. He is a Certified Economic Developer through the International Economic Development Council and is currently the Chair Elect of the Washington Economic Development Association.
His immediate past position was the Director of Economic Development and Marketing for the Port of Pasco. His projects included real estate development of the Port’s mixed use and industrial properties, carrying out the region’s economic development vision, Somos Pasco, promoting economic development legislation and marketing the Tri-Cities Airport.
He served as the Executive Director to the Wine Science Center Development Authority, which was instrumental in building the Ste. Michelle Wine Estates WSU Wine Science Center and previously he was the Economic Development Manager for the City of Richland where his work included special projects, such as creating the Revitalization Area for Industry, Science and Education and Broadband Initiative, as well as managing economic development and redevelopment programs within the City.
Gary received a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Hotel and Restaurant Administration, all from Washington State University. He is a former Governor’s Executive Fellow for the Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development and a Research Assistant for Battelle Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and Washington State Universities Laboratory for Atmospheric Research.

Catherine Brazil, who served for more than two decades in Eastern Washington public affairs is the director of government and community relations for Spokane and Eastern Washington at the University of Washington since 2015.

In her role, Brazil represents the UW and coordinates government, business and community relations from the UW Spokane Center. Brazil is a critical voice for the UW and the School of Medicine in Spokane, building and maintaining relationships in the community and engaging with people and organizations throughout the local community as well as Eastern Washington.

Brazil has served since 2001 as director of public affairs at Cowles Company, a diversified company with operations in media, insurance, forestry and real estate. Prior to that, she was Eastern Washington director for U.S. Sen. Slade Gorton from 1994 to 2000. She earned bachelor’s degrees in political science and art history at the UW in 1990, and completed a master’s in international management at Whitworth University in 2000.

Lonnie Rosenwald focuses on corporate transactions, particularly in the context of cutting-edge technologies. Ms. Rosenwald is a respected leader, senior technology executive, and experienced legal counsel recognized for her vision, innovative thinking, and successful development and implementation of legal strategies for path-breaking ventures. She has deep and broad experience in innovations that are reshaping the technology industry, law, and investments. She has developed and led high-performing teams that deliver results in both Fortune 50 and start-up environments. In 2021, she was named the “IMA 300 World’s Leading IP Strategists.”
